adbtd vs Infraforge: dedicated IPs without quarterly billing

Infraforge and adbtd are close cousins: both give you private email infrastructure with a dedicated IP rather than a shared pool. They differ on what an IP costs, how you are billed, and how much of the surrounding tooling comes in the box.

Disclosure: this page is published by adbtd. We tried to describe Infraforge the way its own website does, and every price below links to the page we read it on. If something has changed, email hi@adbtd.com and we will correct it.

The short version

Infraforge is the dedicated-infrastructure product in Salesforge’s Forge family. Its help center describes it as “a private email infrastructure that gives you your own dedicated IP address, along with fully managed SMTP/IMAP setup.” Mailbox slots cost $4 down to $3 per month, billed quarterly or annually, with additional dedicated IPs listed at $99 per IP per month and a recommendation of no more than 40 mailboxes per IP.

adbtd sells the same kind of isolation with a different price structure: $1.99 per mailbox and $19 per dedicated IP, both billed monthly, with a dedicated mail server container per account. You can add IPs and pin domains to them from the dashboard.

Infraforge brings more of the cold-email workflow with it: in-app domain purchase, domain masking, pre-warmed mailboxes, a unified inbox add-on and native exports. adbtd is leaner infrastructure at a lower unit price, with monthly billing and an API and webhooks aimed at developers and AI agents.

Prices as of October 2026, in USD, monthly billing, before tax. adbtd: $1.99 per mailbox and $19 per dedicated IP, nothing else; the IP count is your choice (minimum one). Infraforge: slot prices from its pricing page. Its pages disagree on whether a first dedicated IP comes with the slots, so we show the $99/mo IP add-on separately; at Infraforge’s own 40-mailboxes-per-IP guideline, 200 mailboxes would need five.

Where adbtd and Infraforge differ

What a dedicated IP costs

Both products agree that serious outbound deserves its own IP. They price it very differently. Infraforge lists additional IPs at $99 per month and recommends no more than 40 mailboxes per IP, so a 200-mailbox setup following its own guideline carries several IPs. On adbtd an IP is $19 a month, and the ratio is your call: the docs recommend a ramp per mailbox, not a cap per IP.

Cheap IPs change how you use them. At $19 it is reasonable to put transactional mail, each client of an agency, or each risky experiment on its own IP and pin the relevant domains to it, so one problem never spreads.

Quarterly vs monthly billing

Infraforge has no monthly plan: you commit to a quarter or a year, and its terms require cancellation through live chat at least seven days before the term ends. adbtd bills monthly, pro-rates changes, and lets you cancel from the billing portal any month. If your outbound volume is seasonal or you are still testing, that flexibility is worth something.

Workflow tooling vs developer surface

Infraforge’s add-ons are aimed at cold-email operators: pre-warmed mailboxes, domain masking, a Masterbox unified inbox, multi-IP provisioning and a 20% revenue-share reseller programme for agencies. If those are things you would otherwise build or buy, they are real value.

adbtd’s extras are aimed at people who wire email into software: a REST API covering everything in the dashboard, signed webhooks on every inbound message, an MCP server so an AI agent can create a mailbox and send from it, a webmail for humans, and spam scoring on every outbound message.

When Infraforge is the better choice

Infraforge is one of the more complete products in this category. It may suit you better if:

  • You want pre-warmed mailboxes. Infraforge sells them; adbtd does not, so a new adbtd IP needs a few weeks of warmup before full volume.
  • You run an agency and want to resell. Infraforge advertises white-label reselling with a 20% revenue share. adbtd has no reseller programme.
  • You live in the Salesforge ecosystem. One login across Salesforge, Warmforge and the other Forge products, with native exports between them.
  • You want domains bought, masked and forwarded in one place. adbtd does not sell domains or mask them; you use your own registrar.

Why teams switch from Infraforge to adbtd

  • IP cost. $19 a month per dedicated IP instead of $99 makes it cheap to separate domains, clients and mail types onto their own IPs.
  • Monthly billing. No quarter or year up front, no cancellation notice window, pro-rated changes.
  • Lower per-mailbox price. $1.99 a month against $4 billed quarterly (or $3.33 billed annually).
  • Built for software, not just sequencers. Inbound webhooks, a REST API and an MCP server make the mailboxes usable by your product and by AI agents, not just by a sending tool.

Before you move anything, send a real message from your current setup to check.adbtd.com and keep the score: it is a free baseline to compare against after the switch. The full price list is on the pricing page, and the cold email infrastructure setup guide walks through domains, warmup and the Google / Yahoo / Microsoft sender rules.

Frequently asked

Is Infraforge a dedicated IP provider?

Yes. Infraforge describes itself as private email infrastructure with your own dedicated IP, and lists additional IPs at $99 per IP per month. adbtd also gives every account dedicated IPs, at $19 per IP per month.

Can I pay Infraforge monthly?

Not as of October 2026: Infraforge offers quarterly and annual billing. adbtd bills monthly only.

How many mailboxes should share one IP?

Infraforge recommends at most 40 mailboxes per IP. There is no universal number; it depends on how much each mailbox sends. On adbtd you choose the ratio, and pinning domains to separate IPs keeps one bad campaign from affecting the rest.

Does adbtd offer pre-warmed mailboxes like Infraforge?

No. adbtd IPs are fresh and assigned only to you, so you warm them up with your own traffic or any warmup tool that connects over SMTP and IMAP.

Looking for a Infraforge alternative?

Your own Postfix and Dovecot stack on a dedicated IP, your domain in every header.$1.99 per mailbox and $19 per dedicated IP per month, cancel any month.
